Les is blessed to have enjoyed a very varied and exciting career as a an actor and presenter on television, stage and radio for over 50 years.

Starting out as a comedian and impressionist in the 1970s, honing his craft on the Working Men’s Club circuit and holiday parks led to him winning New Faces and turning professional. He quickly became a popular face on prime time Saturday night TV in the 80s and 90s, starring in shows including 'The Russ Abbot Show', where he met his beloved comedy partner, Dustin Gee. They went on to have great success with their own prime time slot, 'The Laughter Show' and following Dustins’ tragic death, Les continued with 'The Les Dennis Laughter Show', and most famously went on to become the host of ITV’s 'Family Fortunes' for 16 years.

After an eventful appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, Les starred in Ricky Gervais’ Extras and has gone on to enjoy a thrilling and varied work as an actor and presenter. From Coronation Street to the Royal Shakespeare Company, from Masterchef to the English National Opera and starring in numerous hit plays and musicals in the West End and on tour, Les’s career continues to go from strength to strength and he looks forward to what it will bring next!
